adidas and Pharrell Williams’ NMD Hu releases have developed a reputation for both their bold colours and heavy branding. This one deviates from the pair’s vibrant norm, though, favouring a classic Triple Black palette instead. As is standard for the colourway, everything matches, from the Primeknit and model-synonymous caging to the boost™ cushioning and rubber tread. Even the usual statement branding — a Chinese translation of Human Race — is kept low-key and embroidered using tonal thread. The only exception is the rope-like laces, which are clean white for a bright, contrasting touch.
